Michael is a musician and worship leader currently based in Stirling. He graduated in History at Aberdeen University and became a Christian during his time there. He has experimented with various musical styles from folk, classical, jazz and country while synthesizing modern styles of popular music into his compositions. Many of his compositions have been widely circulated in contemporary worship settings, where he attempts to communicate powerful Gospel themes in a relatable way for present day listeners. Listeners are often struck by the deep authenticity Michael’s songs, where he doesn’t shy away from sincere expressions of joy, hope, suffering, isolation, healing, love and faith.
