You can support our work by making a donation. It is a quick and simple process, and you can donate a one-off gift, or give a regular amount every month.
We are passionate about offering fresh and engaging ways to connect with people who are unfamiliar, or perhaps all-too-familiar with church, but who wish to interact with prayer, the Bible, spirituality, and one another without feeling under pressure to conform to a stereotype of Christianity. It is important to us to make these resources freely available to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. We also want to maintain a standard of creativity, innovation and quality in our output that helps our resources be attractive, relevant and engaging.

Building a Digital Cathedral for the Next Generation
Sanctuary First is a small charity with a big vision: we are building a Digital Cathedral, a sacred space accessible 24/7 from anywhere in the world. In a world often fractured by conflict and loss, Sanctuary First reaches across borders and divides, carrying the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people and places far beyond the reach of traditional church buildings.
We invite you to consider leaving a lasting legacy to support the work of Sanctuary First. By including Sanctuary First in your Will, you ensure that this Digital Abbey continues to grow, evolve, and serve as a spiritual home for your children, grandchildren, and the global community.
Developing Sanctuary First
The cost of maintaining Sanctuary First in its current form amounts to approximately £100,000 per annum. We hope to grow Sanctuary First over the next three years.
In 2026 we’re planning for a budget of £130,000 and in 2027 we are aiming to have a budget £150,000.
Your donation will help us:
- provide a daily worship resource to a wide group of people, many of whom feel disconnected or disengaged from conventional church
- use social media in creative ways to build Christian community, across Scotland and around the world.
- equip the wider church to participate in digital media by engaging with our pilot partnership programme to help build a network of shared digital ministry.
- produce innovative resources such as teaching materials through our Connect Groups, new songs, poems, reflections, blog posts, podcasts and high quality short films, all with the intention of inspiring personal and public worship. This material available to download.
- hosting dynamic events for people to attend in person and to stream online - this includes our current daily 7am live prayer slot and our Friday Jam Sessions and monthly opportunities to celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
