Led By The Spirit

Matthew 4: 1–2 (ESV)
1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
As we draw near the end of our journey with the 'Thy Kingdom Come' prayer movement we come before God with our honesty and humility.
O Spirit giving God,
even as we bless you for your Holy Spirit gift
we acknowledge that your giving
is not always what we would choose.
With your gift,
give us grace
to receive all that you give us,
to follow wherever you lead us.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

This week’s contribution has, to me, been disappointing, compared with the previous two weeks, which were excellent. I have enjoyed the daily message, which has been uplifting on many levels and trust that the standards previously set will continue.
Dear Wellwood,
Thank you for your honest feedback
Last week was an experiment where we departed form our usual format, mainly to link in with the material being produce out of the Church of England. Our writer Gordon Kennedy on this occasion followed the ‘Thy Kingdom Come Format’ I think we are back to our usual format on Monday next week.
I want to say something!
