I have a dream
I will pour out my Spirit on all people
Your sons and daughters will prophesy
Your old men will dream dreams
Your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
Lord - ‘I have a dream!’
Such an amazing vision of hope which inspires 50 years on
I have a dream that my four little children
Will one day live in a nation
Where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin
But by the content of their character.’
Heavenly Father - have those days gone, are they still yet to come?
When you pour out your Spirit on us
And we dream dreams, and see visions?
I have a dream – that one day this nation will realise it’s God given destiny
It’s not a dream of independence,
It’s not about oil or the pride of a nation
It is sought as we bend the knee
And with humble spirits
Crying out – ‘forgive us Lord, come and heal our land.’
