We thank Laura Digan for her Daily Worship week and we welcome John Povey who concludes our May theme Waiting... beginning Sunday 31 May.
John retired in 2021 after 40 years as parish minister in Kirk of Calder, Mid Calder. He is now engaged in occasional pulpit supply, and some writing and research. His hobbies include baking and cooking, travel, the theatre, reading, and time with the grandchildren.
This week John writes about anticipation, majesty and mission
"Direct my path this day; help me to use my time well; make me aware of Your guiding hand in all that I do; teach me to anticipate the blessings of your loving presence everywhere I go."
