We thank Scott Harman for his Daily Worship week and we welcome our own James Cathcart who continues our summer theme Express Yourself beginning Sunday 2 August.
This week James invites us to consider how the Bible is a series of words that give us pictures. How each generation we redraw the images and replay the scenes. With the Holy Spirit by our side they are animated once again.
He writes about painting, architecture, and the writing on the wall:
"Through wild stone
and carved arches
through close observation of seasons changing
through pain and grace coinciding on a concerned forehead
in lines of colour going on, seemingly without end."
