Daily Worship Writer - Fergus Buchanan on tuning in
We thank James Cathcart for his Daily Worship week and we welcome Fergus Buchanan who concludes our October theme Story Time beginning Sunday 15 June.
Fergus says, "I am a retired Church of Scotland minister. My first charge was Stevenston: Ardeer from 1983 until 1988. I was then called to Milngavie: St Paul’s. I served there until 2022. I am restricted in my activities due to illness, but my wife and I are enjoying being part of the congregation of Renfrew Trinity, our local parish. From time to time, I am asked to lead worship in various churches which gives me a welcome spiritual boost. My life is lived at a much slower pace than formerly, but I enjoy reading, blogging, and reflecting on God’s Word."
This week Fergus writes about tuning in, getting there, and living against the wind.
"Help us to pray while we are running. Praying as if everything depends on You and working as if everything depends on us."
Read all of Fergus's prayers in Daily Worship and check out our Connect Bible Study that goes along with the theme.
