Walking, listening and learning

LuKe 24: 25-27

25 And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Lord,
There are some things quite inexplicable about the scriptures.
I can read  a gospel text  and something important goes over my head
Then  weeks later my attention is drawn to it again
and it feels as though a whole new world has opened up.
It’s then, I know, You have entered the conversation.
So help me Lord, to keep walking, listening and learning
from “the way the truth and the life.”
