Thank you for mystical love

Listen to this daily worship
1 Corinthians 13: 9-12 (GNT)
9 For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial; 10 but when what is perfect comes, then what is partial will disappear.
11 When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all those of a child; now that I am an adult, I have no more use for childish ways. 12 What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete—as complete as God's knowledge of me.
God’s love is not just eternal. It transcends both time and space.
The James Webb telescope is revealing the vastness and age of the universe (universes?) and quantum theory looks, as it were through the other end, at the almost unimaginably small.
Both concepts are away beyond my comprehension, yet I believe that God, the God of eternity, loves me.
‘Mystical’ hardly describes what we observe when we think about God’s love.
As we grow up and learn more, we may discard childish ideas and acquire a more sophisticated view of the world, but we are still a very long way from realising the extent and wonder of God’s love.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.” (John 3:16. GNT)
Prayer:
Loving God, thank you for mystical love.
Thank you for glimpses of things beyond our understanding.
Thank you that we don’t need to understand it all now;
that wonders and mysteries are waiting to be revealed to us
in your good time.
Loving God, accept our gratitude and our love.
