Mark 9: 21-24

Jesus asked the boy’s father, ‘How long has he been like this?’
‘From childhood,’ he answered. ‘It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him.  But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.’
‘“If you can”?’ said Jesus. ‘Everything is possible for one who believes.’
Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, ‘I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!’

Psalm 18:29

With my God I can scale a wall.

Father, help me with the wall that stands before me.
I don’t know who built this wall but there is
no door through it and it’s too wide to go round it.
The strange thing is this wall keeps appearing with different labels on it.
Sometimes it says, “Health” or “Wealth” or “Relationships” or “Friendships” or “Grief.”
It’s an enormous obstacle and it’s confusing as I try figure out what to do.
Can you help me re-start my journey?
I’m just stuck and can’t go forward.
My life is on hold and my feet are growing roots.

I believe that you will help me get over this but I don’t see how.
Grant me the assurance of your problem solving abilities.

I see my wall.
I see you.
I see you as a helper in my past.
I see the fame surrounding your past works.
I see my wall.
Past, Future, now.
Faith.
“Jesus, I believe.  Help me in my unbelief.” Amen
