“You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.”
Living on the streets meant that one day was very like another and John would often ask what day it was when he arrived at the Mission. ‘Only Wednesday’ he would say, ‘I can’t wait till Sunday so we can have our service and sing our hymns – we’ll give it laldie!’ When John praised God he gave it 150% - all his energy and more.
Lord, today brings – power to strengthen.
