Matthew 28: 19-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
We are strangers in community
We have heard your call to go
And the mystery of the unknown awaits us

Come,
Holy Spirit,
Awaken the adventurer in our hearts
Bind us in bonds of love
To follow the Son
To take up the cross and deny self
To serve the needy the lost and forgotten

Jesus our brother,
Keep our ears attentive to your voice
For you speak through the unexpected people
The unexpected places
Trinity of the surprises
We travel expectantly
No longer strangers in Community
We are sisters and brothers
In communion
With the Father
Through the Son
In the Spirit
Living out the Gospel
Proclaiming
The Kingdoms here
Amen
