Romans 16: 25-27
25 Now to God who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages 26 but is now disclosed, and through the prophetic writings is made known to all the Gentiles, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— 27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ever! Amen.
We all are living through a mystery. The creation itself takes our breath away. We only understand in part. What is so amazing and awe inspiring about the Christmas story is the belief that God the creator has broken the silence of the ages. Love has unstopped the ears of resistance. The music of eternity is being heard again in the human soul.
God and sinners have been reconciled. Hope is stirring in the human heart, something amazing has been revealed. The wisdom of God standing for all to see; its sheer glory fills the universe. Nothing else exists, for the Glory of God, fills everything.
Father God,
Grant us the power to believe
Give us the grace to receive
Guide our steps to uncover
The greatest mystery of all
A secret hidden even from the angels
God has found a new Adam
Eden will be redeemed
Heaven and Earth will touch again
The mystery is unfolding before our eyes
Lord teach us to live in this story
And live out of your glory
