Jane Denniston on desert, gifts and living water #DailyWorship

We thank Jo Penn for her Daily Worship and we welcome Jane Denniston, Minister of Campsie Parish Church who starts our new theme 'Go Fish' which explores how we are empowered to go forth in the world on a new kind of mission with a new kind of net. We will explore the God given, Jesus bought and Spirit unwrapped gift of language to explore the imagery and metaphors of faith. In her week Jane writes about desert, gifts and living water. "Help us to see you on the road in front of us / leading us in new paths. / Give us vision, / give us wisdom, / and most of all, / give us courage to follow you"

LIVE Sunday Service - 22.03.20

Each Sunday, during this time of crisis, join us for a LIVE worship service. This week our theme will be ‘ Belonging'. It is also Mothers’ Day, so we will be celebrating the gift of life given to us through our mothers.

With so many people isolated and apart from each other at this time it's important for us to still find time to come together and worship God.  Using the gift of technology we can reach out  to God and each other, but also encounter the living dynamic presence of the Holy Spirit at work through the internet.

The service will be live streamed here on Sanctuary First and on Facebook. We will be joined by members of our regular worshipping community. Our guests this week will be  Fishy Music who will contribute to our all age worship section.

Join the  Sanctuary First team for a full service of music, praise and reflection.  We start at  3pm  UK Time on  Sunday the 22nd of March.

James Cathcart on rock breakers, filmmakers + water of life partakers…

We thank Dan Harper for his Daily Worship week and we welcome our own James Cathcart who continues our 'What We Really Need' theme writing about thirst. Look out for rock breakers, filmmakers and water of life partakers...

The Gift that keeps on Giving

At harvest time we are thankful for the gifts we have received — from the earth, from God, and from one another. We are going to link back to a past Sanctuary First theme Guard the Good and focus on a story Jesus told known as the ‘Parable of the sower’. It’s a punchy, memorable tale with lots to say about agriculture, gifts and grace.
