Sanctuary First Late Show - Gifts of the peoples of the world

June 24, 2022 / 9:00pm 0 0

Join us on Friday at 9PM for our new Live Podcast series!

Our theme: Gifts of the peoples of the world

At the end of Refugee Scotland Festival Week, Albert Bogle, Iain Jamieson, and Laura Digan talk with Linda Pollock about her experiences as a parish minister in Possilpark Glasgow, welcoming those in search of Sanctuary.

Together they reach the conclusion that celebrating the diversity and gifts of the peoples of the world would be a much better way of understanding the benefits and transformational legacies that those seeking sanctuary bring into our communities. The podcast concludes with the song; 'O sisters and brothers', performed by Phil Mellstrom.

The show will be streamed live on our site, app and Facebook page and will be available to listen or watch back later on the site and on Spotify & Apple Podcasts. Through lively discussion, wacky anecdotes, stimulating interviews, heartfelt poetry, striking monologues and gentle night prayer we hope to enact the moving, funny, vibrant and often messy experience of being a Christian in the 2020s.

Albert, Laura, James and Iain ‘The Doc!’ Jamieson from the Weekly Review will all be returning for the new programme with more deep dives, soul- searching, and surreal tangents.

Watch live on Friday night and join in in the comments section, or listen to the show as a podcast on your platform of choice.
