Art Connection - Week 50

Week 50 - The eye

Art Connection is on holiday on Tuesday 25th Oct, so this group will be on Tuesday 1st Nov.

This week we're going to paint an eye using multicoloured acrylic paints and other multi media tools - our creation will be an eye on brightly coloured background

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone ?

What you'll need

A rule and eraser and pencil for sketching

Good quality / Strong Acrylic or Mixed Media paper in A4 or A3

A selection of Acrylic paints and other mediums

(such as gold ink pen, white fine ink pen, black & coloured graphite pencils (in fact anthing you have which will make a pleasing and colourful mark on the paper)

Waterproof/permanent pens

Kitchen paper for cleaning brushes

large, medium and small flat brushes

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
