Art Connection - Week 29

Week 29 - Tuesday 15th March 2022 - Sketching an Emu

This week in our group we're going to use some sketching pencils to draw an Emu, concentrating on creating light and shade and texture and 'values'

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome to join us in creating together.

If you are able to print it out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone ?

What you'll need

A selection of pencils in various hardness (such as HB, 4B, 6B, 8B)

If you only have a standard HB pencil, that's absoutely fine !

An eraser, rule and sharpener

Smooth untextured A5 or A4 paper

A piece of kitchen paper

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will apear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
