1 Timothy 4:4

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,

Merciful Father, 
Before even You laid the foundation of the earth
and spoke life onto this planet,
You put within each of us a destiny to fulfill Your perfect plan
and by this pursuit of sports and giving our best,
we believe we are contributing to Your eternal plan
and we are thankful for it.
Honor our request, our Lord by drawing us all together.
Give us strength to point all to You alone.
For without You we can do nothing.
Thank You for the gifts You have given,
to enjoy, to use and to see You and Your beauty in them.
We dedicate ourselves, our team to You once again
and ask for Your great favor, protection and strength
to bless our work and our team.
Thank you for the abilities you have given,
to lead us into true worship and devotion of our Father.
Help us to not loose sight of what is most important,
what is everlasting, your truth and Your righteousness.
Protect us from all that would deter us from following after You.
Thank you for these opportunities to give our all and play for you.
Thank you for the great mercy and kindness You bestow over each of us,
unify us for You own Name sake, Oh Lord.
In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
