Your Love Gets In Everywhere!

Romans 8:35-39

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ...Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. Take a moment to remember and pray with all those who struggle to see their own value and self worth. Those who for whatever reason self harm, those who feel everything and everyone is against them.

Persecution can be such a subtle thing whether real or perceived. It can quietly gnaw away at your soul. To feel lost and abandoned, is not just the experience of refugees in war torn zones; it’s the experience of millions of people living in the midst of wealth and prosperity. The rich can feel abandoned in the poverty of their riches and the poor can feel abandoned in the midst of the material riches of a decadent western economy.

The one thing riches cannot buy is love. The one lasting truth of eternity is that God cannot allow anything to separate him from the love he has for his creation because God is Love.

Father God

Forgive my doubting heart

I’m so easily distracted

Listening to others

I forget too easily

YOU ARE FOR ME!

You cast your vote for me!

Even if everyone else is against me

Your one vote - out weights the many

You count me in!

Father

The idea that NOTHING

In the past

In the present

Or the future

Will ever make you change your mind

Is actually inconceivable

You have “no get out” clauses

Your love gets in everywhere

And changes everything

And that includes me!

You

Are

Amazing!
