Ephesians 3: 18-19

18 I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Love you to the moon and back...

does not even begin to fathom the depths of God's love.

Thankfully, God does not ask us to understand

but rather, to allow ourselves to be swept away

by a love that we cannot earn but that is ours anyway.

A love that makes no demands,

that asserts no criteria

that is beyond our imagining

that cannot be compared to anything we know or have experienced.

That's the kind of love that God pours out on us.

And every love that we know, while pale in comparison, flows out of that marvellous love of God, beyond our comprehension but grounded in the depths of our being.
