Romans 12: 2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Lord God,
The fashions of this world come and go,
but you remain the same forever……

Help us not to be consumed by advertising and the media,
to be swept up by the false images found in popular magazines…..

Instead,
help us to be content with who we are,
and what we have……

Knowing that,
just as we are,
you love us,
with a love which knows no bounds…..

And knowing that,
what we have,
is already more than enough,
for us to be able to work for your Kingdom……
