The Cup

Mrs Karen Brown November 27, 2013 0 0

Luke 22: 20

In the same way, after supper he took the cup. Saying,  ”This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for many.”

Lord, your cup of suffering is our awakening to new life in you. When we taste the cup of suffering come beside us and fill us with your presence.

Jesus cup of suffering becomes a vessel of love poured out from God our Father.

We remember your cup of suffering in Gethsemane.

Accept our remembering as a thank offering for your love.

Your sacrifice on the cross is our salvation, we lay our remembering at your feet,

The cup of suffering you endured became an anointing of your love. Anoint all our

memories, thoughts and prayers with your healing love.

Amen.
