Prayers from Berlin

August 02, 2013 0 0

Matt 7:7,8

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

As you pray for Berlin, please include the similar challenges in you own city. Prayer throughout the city. Prayer has been a significant reason for the spiritual changes in Berlin in recent years. One example is in the Berlin-Spandau district. Since May 2012, prayer for the district and its surroundings has been taking place monthly in the Joshua Church. It began as a result of an impression that Christians need to be aware of the needs of those near where they live and go to church. Blessing and prayer should permeate the district and change it. The prayer meeting lasts about two hours. Following a time of sharing, those attending divide into several teams and go on prayer walks throughout the district for at least an hour. Then they come back together and share their impressions before closing in joint prayer. Please pray for other similar efforts to start in each of the 12 districts of the city. Pray that Christians will stimulate one another toward praying together. - written by Mike Edwards, Berlin
