Our blindness

November 06, 2012 0 0

Matthew 20:30

At the roadside sat two blind men.

When they heard Jesus was passing by they shouted.

“Have pity on us, Son of David.”    ...........

Jesus stopped and called the men.

“What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

“Sir, they answered “Open our eyes.”

Jesus said, ”What do you want me to do for you?”

“What do you want me to do for you?”

Jesus, thank you for the question!

Do you have  a minute, Lord?

We have so much to tell you.

Pain, suffering, torture, persecution, starvation, pollution,

Illness, cruelty, oppression, abuse, selfishness, greed, fear.

Do you have more than a minute, Lord?

Our blindness is not physical;

We confess, our blindness is in our minds.

This is our prayer, Lord.

That the eyes of our minds may be opened by you, Lord
