Chatter

Acts 2: 44-47

All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Chattering voices and whispering lips are the currency of care.
Who’s ill?; Who hurts? What can I do?
A community bound in generous compassion.
Self becomes the prefix for selfless; the time that went before.
Being together, being a community is hard work.
Bless us with the tools we need:
Tolerance, understanding, grace and love.
When we gather let us bless each other in love,
For when we do we bring you praise through our actions.
