NEW - Sanctuary First Late Show!

The Sanctuary First Late Show Launches!

Join us on Friday the 5th of November at 9pm for the Sanctuary First Late Show our new series featuring an informal mix of discussion, interviews, spoken word and music. Together we will be exploring what it means to laugh, cry and wonder as followers of Jesus in the 21st century.

The show will be streamed live on our site, app and Facebook page and will be available to listen or watch back later on the site and on Spotify & Apple Podcasts. After taking some time off over the summer, the team behind the ‘Weekly Review’ have decided to relaunch our late night programme with a new name and expand our focus beyond the past week of SF to think about life, faith and culture more broadly.

Through lively discussion, wacky anecdotes, stimulating interviews, heartfelt poetry, striking monologues and gentle night prayer we hope to enact the moving, funny, vibrant and often messy experience of being a Christian in the 2020s. Albert, Laura, James and Iain ‘The Doc!’ Jamieson from the Weekly Review will all be returning for the new programme with more deep dives, soul- searching, and surreal tangents.

We are going to have two special themed episodes of The Sanctuary First Late Show on Friday 5th of November and Friday the 3rd of December before coming back again in 2022. On the 5th November we’ll be reflecting on COP26 and how we as faithful disciples of Jesus can hold our nerve and respond creatively and compassionately to world events championing his grace, mercy and peace.

Join us live at 9pm on our site, app, Facebook page, or on catch-up
