We thank Jo Black for her Daily Worship week and we welcome Lily Cathcart who begins Sunday 07 July starting our new theme for July and August Express Yourself.
This summer as a community we are exploring the many different ways we express ourselves — for instance through food, music, art, sport, work, vocations, festivals and celebration@ Our theme begins at the breakfast table as we explore what we eat, what is says about us, and how food can be an important way of understanding theology...
This week Lily writes about food, justice and inequality:
"God whose heart is for all the earth, help us to find an honest way forward in this world of big names and small people.
Give each one of your people — no matter how big or small — a burning heart for fairness in our food."
