Week 84 - A Glass Vase in soft pastels or coloured pencils

This week we're drawing a glass vase in soft pastels

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone as this will allow you to zoom in on the detail also ?

If you have time, pre-sketch it using a pastel pencil or a normal pencil very lightly.

What you'll need

Pastel paper (or very fine sandpaper is good)

Decorators masking tape to stick down the paper whilst working

A selection of soft pastel sticks or pastel pencils

(Coloured pencils will suit if you don't have pastels)

A pencil to sketch it out

An eraser

Any size paper - A4/A3

How do i join?
