Week21 - Tuesday 18th Jan 2022 - A Yellow Rose in Watercolour

This week we're going to paint a yellow rose in watercolour, concentrating on building up the layers of colour to create depth & shape

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome as well as more experienced artists too.

If you are able to print it out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, I'm sure you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone ?

What you'll need

A selection of watercolour paints (tubes or pan sets)

A selection of brushes - round if possible in thin and medium

Mixed media paper (or Strong Watercolour paper if you have it)

Coloured pencils in green & yellow (or a standard pencil)

A jar of water & some kitchen roll or paper hankies

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will apear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
