The Future Glory

Romans 8: 18-20

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope.

Think on the song, "I am a New Creation".  The song goes 'I am a new creation, no more in condemnation, here in the grace of God I stand'.

Today Lord I sit here with wonder and expectation, thinking of the world in which I live,
A world that is filled with beauty, variety, creativity, and people with dreams and hopes to be fulfilled.
For some today is a new start – an opportunity to begin again in their relationships and expectations,
For others, this is a day to take a step forward, to try new opportunities and see what you have in store for them.
Today I sense this is a new beginning for me. A fresh page is about to be written.
I am excited by the gifts you have given me, the love you surround me with,
The encouragement Jesus gives me, and the inspiration of what you have taught me.
So I reach out my hand, feeling rested and ready for what this week will hold,
Knowing that we take this journey together, and that you delight in me, and who I am.
