Psalm 57: 1 (NRSVA)

1 

Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me,
    for in you my soul takes refuge;
in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge,
    until the destroying storms pass by.

God is with us no matter what.


There is no thunder too loud.

 

There is no lightning too bright.

 

There is no deluge too great.

 

There is no cloud too dark.

 

There is no wreckage too forgone.

 

PRAYER:

 

Lord in Heaven,

with gratitude

with awe

with reverence

with wonder

with humility

we come close to you

to shelter in your love,

Amen.
