Lord,
It’s Sunday
But it could be Monday or Tuesday
Its just another day
The streets are busy.
Anxious bodies carrying boxes and bags.
Hopeful buskers and mime artists line the street.
All looking for the perfect
gift, note, space or feeling.

Lord,
I wanted to share your joy
as I mingled with the crowd
but I didn’t know how
So I stopped and listened to the busker
made space to watch the mine artist
and prayed your peace on the city.
