God of vitality

Luke 2: 39-40

​When they had finished everything required by the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.  The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favour of God was upon him.

​God of vitality,

When we think of the boy Jesus, we are struck by wisdom ahead of his years. You were with him through his up-bringing, fostering spiritual growth and preparing him for a life which would mean so much.

In our lives, we see so many children who have so much to offer, such incredible potential, so many good things which can enrich their lives and ours also.

Bless the children of our world, granting our young ones joy and creativity in their development, imagination and compassion in their relationships. So may they always know your living presence: may our world flourish along with them, secure in faith, hope and love. AMEN.
