God Call Us…

Matthew 3:16-17

​The moment Jesus came up out of the baptismal waters, the skies opened up and he saw God’s Spirit—it looked like a dove—descending and landing on him. And along with the Spirit, a voice: “This is my Son, chosen and marked by my love, delight of my life.”

​Beloved, God calls us.

Beloved sons and daughters.

Filled with grace.

Chosen.

Loved and delighted in.

As we emerge today, God,

may we breathe in that wonderful knowledge,

that we are beloved,

that we are adopted as your own and that we bring you delight.

And may we go through this day with a huge grin on our face because of that wonderful knowledge – that we are special.
