Acts 3:7-8
Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.
Lord, some days we take steps that seem to falter and our courage fails.
But Father we see from this account of the man made well
that your life and Kingdom colliding with his life made strong that which was weak and feeble.
Those same feet that had caused him suffering became the route to his new life, his awakening.
Holy Spirit, how we long for such awakening in our own lives and in the world that we call our own.
Take every feeble step Lord,
every weakness and paralysis of purpose
and transform us that we may humbly walk with you,
submit willingly to your plan
and cause many to stand in wonder and amazement.
