Romans 15
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
Fear, envy, criticism, sabotage, these things are not welcome in your Kingdom O Lord. But courage, trust, kind words, support are such as the kingdom is made of.
We lose sight of your good purpose, of your righteousness, and we stray
In our planning and shaping we forget you are the potter and we (all of us) are the clay.
In our pride, and even in our passion for your kingdom, we distance ourselves from those who are different.
In our busyness we deem others lazy, when we are contemplative we reckon others too active. Forgive us for our impoverished view of the multiplicity of passions, gifts, and personalities, created by you, gifted to us, for your glory.
