The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
Father of Light
It’s a fresh crisp day
Son of the morning
It’s new day dawning
Spirit with wings
There’s a new year rising
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
You’re creating a new world order
Where the last shall be first
Where love casts out fear
Where hope defines the future
Open my heart to the possibilities of grace
And give me a yearning to draw a circle of peace
around the people, places and contradictions in my life.
