Hello Everyone

Hope you will join me online this Tuesday where we'll work on using watercolour paint to draw a beautiful Ash tree in it's glorious Autumn colours (Image courtesy of 'Free Reference Photos for Artists')

This season (Autumn 2025) we'll meet every Tuesday evening from 6.45pm to 8pm to draw/paint together. No experience needed. Complete beginners are very welcome.

Genesis 2:8-10

8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground - trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters

If you want to pre-sketch the outline of image to give more time for the detail (no need to do so though)

What you'll need

A set of watercolour paints and/or watercolour pencils

(if you don't have watercolours, just use whatever you have for colouring in !)

Sticky tape (decorators masking tape is best) to hold the paper down to your desk/table

Any size of watercolour (300/400g) paper you have available

Kitchen paper to wipe your brushes on

A round brush - in medium and small sizes

A pencil, eraser and pencil sharpener

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 6.45pm on Tuesdays.

To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
