30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him; and he vanished from their sight. 32 They said to each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he was talking to us on the road, while he was opening the scriptures to us?’
Truth and token – all kinds of message that God delivers
Wild and woken – all kinds of situation that God changes
Blessed and broken – all kinds of people that God uses

Pray:
Lord Jesus, we give thanks for bread, token of care for the hungry, token of food for the journey, token of life for everyone who trusts you and comes to your table. You waken us each morning, as you awakened the world in the wonder of creation; you wake up our lives as you woke up two disciples in their own home; you vanished from their sight that you might appear to all of us; and one day you will awaken the universe to a new form beyond our present sight. And so we think and say:
Now to him who is able to do more than we can ask or even imagine, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus, for ever and ever, Amen.
