A prayer of finding

Listen to this daily worship
Luke 15: 8-10 (NIVUK)
8 ‘Or what woman having ten silver coins, if she loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbours, saying, “Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.” 10 Just so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.’
God you scattered seeds of love and hope and purpose across the earth, how I wish I could see your delight as those seeds grow and begin to bear fruit. My mind is human so I cannot comprehend the depths and heights of joy you feel when so many people find hope and peace through intricate networks of roots and shoots you have planted but I can imagine a little and that is enough for me.
God please help us to find ways we can nurture that network of roots and growth you have set in motion. Plant in us the knowledge to garden and caretake these places and people with your love and care, as you watch us blossom and grow together.
Amen
