Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O man, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly, and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God?
Think of a news story from today’s headlines where there is gross injustice.
Imagine justice being done where that wrong is put right.
Pray that God’s just will be done.
Am I ready to “act justly” today?
Think of a situation where people are in need of kindness and mercy.
Imagine Jesus touching them.
Pray that God’s merciful will be done.
Am I ready to “show mercy” today?
Think of a situation where pride and hubris led to disaster.
Imagine those people walking humbly with God.
Pray that God’s humbling will be done.
Am I ready to “walk humbly with God” today?
