Satisfied

Matthew 5: 6-7

Blessed are those who hunger
and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be satisfied.”

Have you ever been truly filled and completely satisfied?

My experience is that we cannot achieve full satisfaction unless we truly connect with God and our neighbour. These are the hinges on the door of salvation.

Martin Luther King invited his friends to make a pledge:

"Meditate each day on the teachings and life of Jesus.

Walk and talk in the manner of love, for God is love.

Refrain from the violence of fist, tongue or heart.

Strive to be in good spiritual and bodily health.

Pray daily to be used by God."

I invite you to pray Psalm 133   In Praise of Living in Peace (GNB)

How wonderful it is, how pleasant,
for God's people to live together in harmony!
2 It is like the precious anointing oil
running down from Aaron's head and beard,
down to the collar of his robes.
3 It is like the dew on Mount Hermon,
falling on the hills of Zion.
That is where the Lord has promised his blessing—
life that never ends.

I think we need justice, peace to be satisfied
