Ephesians 2: 6-7 (NRSVA)

6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.

What a mystery. Our grace filled lives have an eternal purpose: to show the incomparable kindness of God towards sinners. There is one thing that we all have to seriously consider. It is this, could and would God’s kindness and compassion stretch to forgive the vilest of offenders? Could the grace of God surprise the ages still to come? Might we be surprised who is in the new heaven and the new earth?

Let’s stop judging one another and begin loving each other. In doing so we will most certainly be fulfilling the purpose of our lives and sharing in the compassion of God.

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus

Bit by bit

You reveal

Yourself

Your love

Your compassion

Your forgiveness

Towards sinners

Like me

And I in turn

Find myself

Judging other less

And loving

You more

What a revelation

What a transformation!

QUESTION: Who should I be less judgemental towards in order that I might love God more?
